How I Work
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
CBT focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours. It helps to gain awareness of thoughts and feelings and learn healthier coping strategies for managing challenging situations.
-
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy uses the trance state to access the subconscious mind, where positive suggestions and behaviour changes can be introduced. It can help address deep-seated issues, improve self-confidence, and facilitate behavioural changes.
-
Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing
EMDR is particularly effective for clients who have experienced trauma or distressing life events. It involves guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help process and reframe traumatic memories, reducing their emotional impact.
-
Parts Therapy
Parts therapy is also known as ego-state therapy, inner-child work and Internal Family Systems. It involves identifying and communicating with different aspects of the self (parts) that may have conflicting beliefs or emotions. By understanding and integrating these parts, resolution and healing can occur.
